***Rigbys Rescue Inc. is an all volunteer organisation who
dedicate their time, money and emotional energy into saving a small number of
dogs each year that would have otherwise met their fate at the pound or in other
undesirable situations. It operates in the great Melbourne area & focuses on
rescuing dogs from Victorian pounds. It operates without making a profit and
relies on kind donations from its members and the public. All members share the
combined purpose of reducing the number of adoptable dogs euthanased in Australian pounds through means of education and hands-on rehoming
of a small number of dogs***

The Canine Blood Bank supplies blood and plasma products to its hospital & to
veterinarians throughout Australia. It requires donors for its outpatient blood
donor program. They have support from over 200 donors for this important
community service, which is one of the few such programs in the world, however
they need more donors and funding support.
