A) Dog length is measured from the base of the neck, to the base of the tail
B) Neck measurement is around the whole neck
C) Chest measurement is around the broadest part of the chest
If the dog measurement is between sizes, we recommend you choose the larger size. For long backed dogs such as a dachshund, a smaller size is recommended. Also it is important to note that a correct chest fitting is the important factor when measuring your dog - it doesn't matter if the item is a little shorter in back length than your dog....Measurements on this website are measured in inches. To convert to centimeters, multiply by 2.54.
